Some good links of the day...

For finding new music, one of my favorite websites is Daytrotter. Through this organization, indie artists record special versions of a few songs and post it onto the website for free downloading. And the best part? It's totally legal! The articles on the artist tend to be fairly interesting as well....Here's one of my favorite sessions The Tallest Man on Earth Daytrotter Session

Obama, in his State of the Union, promised once again to end the policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Here, the New York Times covers the issue. Top Defense Officials Seek to End 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'

Relations with China are threatened yet again--China has warned against "serious consequences" if Obama meets with the Dalai Lama, as he has been hinting at. China says opposes Obama meeting with Dalai Lama.

Blogger James Fallow explores the issue of bipartisanship, and why it's an unreachable ideal. Unfortunately, the Democrat's vying for this unrealistic goal of bipartisanship lead to backroom deals, and a purging of the very ideals behind the Health Care Reform Bill which made it an important issue in the first place.
